Quilling - Easter bunny.

Hi, I can't believe it's already March... time flies so fast....
I live in Israel, and you know, we do not celebrate Easter here... But for a long time I have been planing to create something related to these oh so cute bunnies.
First I thought I would give it an egg shape, ( Easter, right?!), so I tried a few things until I found this cutey, my kids calls him Taltal. He's the youngest bunny ( his 17 brothers and sisters has already left home )and he still lives with his parents :)

I usually don't sketch my art, I come to a  blank page with a general idea, and I just start to quill. During the process the design becomes alive and navigates me to it's final shape.
With these bunnies the process was the other way around, I felt I needed to draw them first, I needed to give them faces before I start to quill them.
I chose white gray and pink for the bunny, and bold pink, orange and purple for the Easter eggs, and here's the first two Easter quilled bunnies. ( more bunnies will follow soon )

So for all of my friends and family in the Stats, and to all of you, my beloved readers, I spread the love and give you these bunnies design for you to free download and use.

*You can send it on mail to your family with greetings,
*You can  print it, then cut it into an egg shape and decorate you Easter table:
 * Or you can make a paper treats bag from it:

I also uploaded these design to Soceity 6. Where you can enjoy professional printing on various items.

I'm happy to hear your thoughts and comments.
Happy holiday

Quilling Hamsa and Almond trees.

Hi, my recent work was inspired by the beautiful Almond trees that are blooming all around. I live just outside the city of Jerusalem and there are hundreds of Almond trees here. You can see their pink/white blossom from remote and it's a beautiful sight.

This is my interpretation of the scenery. Open fields and one Almond tree standing alone on the heel with all it's glory. I used a medium size wood Hamsa. I covered it with paper and used 3mm quilling strips. For the
